Day 24: Book That Contains Your Favorite Scene

Day 24:  Book That Contains Your Favorite Scene — The Long Dark Tea-time of the Soul by Douglas Adams

There are several amazing scenes in this book, but the one which stood out the most has to be when Thor (who has all of this wood superglued to him) is telling Kate that he doesn’t want her to use antiseptic to remove the wood but lists off various herbs.  She then goes into the bathroom and put various bath oils in the bath tub and runs the water and strictly tells him to take a bath.

One thing you have to realize is a couple of months before I read this I had seen the Avengers and was imagining Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

You know, this has been on my “to read” list like forever! I want to read it, but I just keep getting distracted with other books. I really should get around to reading it.

You might consider reading Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency first. Apparently, it comes before Tea-Time, but I am only half way through it. I didn’t realize there was a correlation between the two.
